Australian singer Miya Zawa's latest offering is a bubbly indie pop single christened “like damn (whoa)”. The funky, upbeat track captures her yearning for a vibrant relationship.

Miya explains: “At the start of the song, I’m questioning relationships and hesitating to be a part of them. Then the chorus marks meeting someone who changes all that, and shifts the way I’ve looked at things.”

I love the dense instrumentation, which combines punchy drum beats, lovely guitars and horns. “like damn (whoa)” is an outright bop.
