For his first ever release on Warner Music, German DJ/producer Iman Hanzo served up “Phakama” (on June 27). The Afro house tune carries soulful male vocals delivered in Zulu, with the title ‘phakama’ meaning ‘rise’.

“Phakama” is soul-stirring and uplifting. It’s about dignity, courage and movement, Iman says.

The single arrived ahead of the launch of Iman’s own festival, The Triangle, which was held on July 12th in Hamburg. Follow Iman Hanzo on Instagram for future updates from him.
