“Indigo” by Los Angeles-based singer & musician Carter Vogel is a soul-stirring piece capturing the end of a relationship. The Baltimore native co-produced the stripped-down piano ballad together with Tommy Chambers, with Megan Winsor being credited as co-writer.

“Indigo” is Vogel’s first release in over 5 years–it follows his 2020 EP, Things I Can’t Get Back. Carter is currently working on a new EP and “Indigo” is billed as the first single.

“To me, the song is a reflection on a time I was torn between choosing love or choosing myself,” he shares. “I wanted to keep this song simple; it needed to be, that’s why I stripped the production. It’s not perfect, it’s vulnerable.“
