New York City band My Mom Is Here have been building an audience brick by brick since their debut in 2024, each song bringing in a new set of fans.
The 5-piece outfit was started by Sam (vocals) and Nick (piano), who later recruited their friends Aidan (drums), Stephen (guitar) and Ryan (bass).
Actually, I’m also just finding out about My Mom Is Here. So, I’ll let us all enjoy the band’s latest single, “The Lucky Dudes”, together. The jazzy track features dense instrumentation, with the happy lyrics and lively horns rounding up its joyous vibe.
“The Lucky Dudes” has an accompanying music video, which was released alongside the track last month.
Be sure to follow My Mom Is Here on Instagram for updates regarding their next releases, which incidentally include a cover of Steve Winwood’s “Can’t Find My Way Home” and an extended version of “The Lucky Dudes.”
