Sasha Daniel and Dov Igel, who go by the moniker Shasha & the Bear, started making music together as a duo a decade ago.

A couple of EP’s and singles later, they are now ready to release their debut full-length album–that project is scheduled to drop this coming summer. “Air”, the pair’s most recent single, is lifted from that planned album.

The chill, meditative indie-electronic track encapsulates Sasha & the Bear’s lo-fi style. Lyrically, “Air” explores the idea of living in co-existence with grief, instead of trying to resist it, or actively seeking closure. It’s deeply vulnerable yet quite uplifting.
