Glaswegian artist Kerr Mercer‘s music beautifully captures the essence of soulful pop. A newcomer in the UK music scene, he has released just three songs: “Alcohol”, “Terrified” and “Love Me Twice”.

It is “Terrified” that introduced me to this phenomenal 19-year-old singer-songwriter whose chillingly powerful voice reminds me of crooners of eras past.

The piano-driven ballad is about the feeling that you’re not enough for someone. Kerr’s haunting delivery on “Terrified” makes it deeply relatable.
