Ellen Benedikston released her euphoric, dance-inducing single “WID4L” a couple of weeks ago, stepping into 2026 with boundless energy. Laced with synthpop elements, the new electro pop track carries the Swedish singer’s signature grungy pop style.

Ellen’s introduction into the music industry was as a Eurovision contestant, where she excelled. Her first serious project arrived in the form of Good Girl, her 2022 debut EP.

With this new single, the artist offers listeners the first taste of her upcoming sophomore EP, which is expected to drop on May 15th via Icons Creating Evil Art.

“‘WID4L’ is about acting, not thinking. I wanted the song to be sensual, ritualistic and horny. No logic here, just feeling — and oh god I hope it never ends,” Ellen says about the new single.
