Nigerian-British musician Dumomi The Jig got to unveil his first proper album last week (he’d released an EP towards the end of 2025).

Titled PARALLAX, the 15-song project finds Dumomi him in full flow, showcasing his versatility as singer, songwriter and producer. Featured artists Pcee, TAR1Q, Ria Sean, Muffeen and Ice Prince also brought their A-game to the collaborations.

I’d say the album is an exhibition of Dumomi’s ability to switch styles without sounding like a copycat. “Kilimanja”, with its simple lyrics and infectious groove, and the amapiano-infused banger “Tonight” are two of my favourites so far.
