When I heard “Sunfire” by new Swiss band Rivermind, I was immediately hooked. So, this past weekend was an exciting one for me, considering Rivermind got to unveil their debut EP.

With this self-titled 5-song collection, Rivermind are showcasing their mesmerizing, melody-driven alt-rock sound. “Sunshine”, for example, is stirring yet catchy.

Built around a textured production, the track infuses elements of post-punk. As a whole, the EP is really good.
