Nottingham-raised UK singer-songwriter Alfie Sharp is gearing up towards the release of a new EP. The third single, “Don’t Know My Name”, dropped recently.   

Essentially, “Don’t Know My Name” is retro soul music dressed in modern production. I’m impressed by how Alfie’s velvety vocals shine bright over the soulful production, making this song really stirring.

The singer says this song is a dedication to “anyone trying to become themselves again after getting lost.“

It is a song about the determination to continue building oneself despite being bogged down by the weight of the past. The lyrics, vocals and production blend perfectly, giving the song its magnetic feel.
