Nashville Exile is a group of UK musicians united by a passion for classic songwriting as well as strong friendship/family ties.

The band is made up by Matthew Crozer (singer and multi-instrumentalist), his cousin Cat Smithurst (vocals), Cat’s husband, Mark Smithurst (bass), Amu Dennett (vocals and guitar), and Rick Kent (drums).

Nashville Exile’s sound is a fusion of pop-rock, country and folk. “Sing Our Song” and “Almost Gone”, which are their two most recent singles, offer a showcase of their genre-blending style.

And while “Almost Gone” leans more into Americana, “Sing Our Song” would fit nicely into a country music playlist.

With Nashville Exile expected to release their debut album, Hand Drawn, later in the year (16th October), new listeners are in for a treat. For their fans, especially those who regularly attend their shows, the album will offer another dimension to the band’s music.
