Manchester-based indie rockers The Streetlights have really impressed me with their new song, “Coming Good”.

It’s so impressive, I had to go back to the earlier songs released by this 4-piece band this year — “Coming God” follows “Sliver Linings” and “Overview”.

And, as exhibited on “Coming Good”, The Streetlights’ style is hook-laden, dynamic and emotionally raw.

“‘Coming Good’ is about reaching that point where you know something isn’t working anymore, but neither person wants to admit it,” says frontman Ryan Wynne. “It’s about all the conversations that go round in circles, trying to convince yourself things will get better while deep down you know the truth. We wanted the music to feel as urgent as those emotions, and make something people could lose themselves in while still connecting with the lyrics.“

The Streetlights made their debut back in March. As they continue to build their reputation in the UK live music circuit, their fanbase can only grow.
