Singer Arii Lopez‘s Cuban-Jamaican heritage not only made her bilingual, but it also informed her eclectic style. The artist’s music blends various genres ranging from R&B and dancehall to Latin and pop.

After a few years without releasing new material, she’s reemerged with a new single, “Undecided”. The track gives us the first taste of her upcoming EP, Girl Interrupted.

“Undecided” is an introspective and emotionally vulnerable alt-R&B/pop piece dressed in acoustic production. The stripped-back style helps highlight the singer’s soulful and powerful voice.

Delivered mostly in English, “Undecided” features a bridge sung in Spanish. It’s one song I haven’t stopped listening to since I heard it.
