Born in Berlin, and now splitting time between Europe and Brooklyn, German singer-songwriter Yvonne Ambrée is one of my favorite hidden gems right now. She also has a side project called Panteon.

The artist is working on a new EP titled Devotion. I’ve just heard the first single, “Himbeeren” — the title is German for “raspberries”.

Sung in English, it is a dreamy, soulful indie pop track with synth textures and a disco-laced groove. The song’s rose-tinted accompanying visuals augment its vintage aesthetic.
