For her first single of the year, emerging American R&B singer Maithili Raelle was joined by Brooklyn rapper Hiii Siddity. The song is called “I CHOOSE ME”, a title that is just as blunt as the lyrics.

Still, the song is fun and playful. It’s modern R&B music with 2000s influences. The music video is befittingly vibrant.

Raelle’s delivery is sultry and melodious. For Siddity, “I CHOOSE ME” really let her flex her rap skills. And she is so good. Both are incredible, really. This is a must-listen.
