Strange Plants just have a knack for making catchy tunes. Every new release from the Canadian band leaves you yearning for more.

And this year, Strange Plants have kept the songs coming. The most recent is called “You Say Falling”.

“The idea is that what looks like falling to you is flying to me. It’s about living a life that might be uncomfortable for those who witness and don’t understand yet it’s how you thrive,” songwriter Matt Brannon says about the new song.

“You Say Falling” melds indie pop with psychedelic rock and that signature retro pop flair that we have come to associate Strange Plants with. The track brings to the fore the band’s melodic sensibilities, presenting us with a song that is both inspiring and inherently catchy.
