Finally Teezeh releases his much-anticipated Transmission EP. The 5-track project is a mix of dancehall and afro-themed tracks. The Oyugis town-born, Nairobi-based Kenyan artist crafts an EP that oozes out energy and is a call on people to enjoy life. The project is out via Grosspool Music.
“Shikamoo” is the first song and fully expresses the mini-album’s theme. While “Zangire”, the second track, cleverly fuses elements of dancehall and afropop, “Awino” is a soothingly smooth jam that interestingly brings out love as a topic.
“Dansolo” features Kisumu-based rapper Gabiro, who not only adds in a great verse but also furthers the song’s great vibe. The instrumentally-heavy “Imora” wraps up the great EP.
Talking about the project, Teezeh says:
“The project has been a great experience as it involved various creative forces and energy. Objectively, the EP expresses and advocates for human happiness. It also places a distinction between the boy I was and the man I am now”
Two producers Videz Hybrid and Stive are credited on the project.
Transmission is now available in all digital platforms like iTunes, Spotify, Soundcloud, YouTube, Amazon, Deezer among others.
