Besides Aipate, there are other cool Kenyan blogs focusing mainly on music.

Here is an (updated) list of some of them:

1. Tangaza Magazine – both a music blog and (print/online) magazine, they write great editorials and curate awesome playlists.
2. Biggest Kaka – doubling up as an entertainment news portal, this is a site where you can discover the latest releases.
3. GetMziki – one of the oldest in this list, GetMziki shares music from Kenya and East Africa.
4. Mzuka Kibao – apart from posting music, the platform also shares entertainment news.
5. LaMusicJunkie – a blog by Joy Ruguru, it’s a place where she chronicles the events she attends while also sharing new music.
6. LionafriQ Radio – an online radio and music review platform focusing on EDM music.
7. Black Roses by Anyiko: a personal blog that mostly shares music reviews, opinion and listicles.
8. Tunes All Day – This is a new entrant into the scene.
9. Kenyan Musik (now offline)- they review and provide news about Kenyan music industry, and more.
10. Sound Safari – (now offline) a spin-off from EDM.co.ke (which is no-longer updated), this site dives into Kenya’s alternative music, with more focus in the electronic scene.
