Watch the video for “Ryders On the Storm” by LoveKills featuring Rev Love and Khari Light. LoveKills is comprised of Rev Love and Light (formerly known as Khari Kill) and this track is their debut single. While Rev Love, as an artist, has provided backup vocals for a number of artists and still had a success as a solo act with video for “See You Fall”, Khari Kill is a international reggae musician with a hit single, “Picture of Selassie”
The duo takes influence from a vast array of musical and life experiences and say they can never be confined to one genre. They coined the term “trippy hippies” which they use to describe the group’s sound and philosophy.
“Ryders on the Storm” was produced for Brooklyn’s Youth Black Faith Records by Isaac Faith and with Rev Love as the Executive Producer. It was inspired by The Doors and 70’s psychedelic rock, as well as the Ruff Ryders and 90’s hip hop sound. The video was shot in the Death Valley desert, the Redwoods National Forest and San Francisco and was directed by Keep Ya Joy Productions.
