ODM Party First To Pay KSH 400,000 Presidential Campaign Music Licence Fee

Orange Democratic Party (ODM) became the first party to pay the Ksh 400,000 Licence fee that is required by Kenya Association of Music Producers (KAMP) and Performers Rights Society of Kenya (PRiSK). The cheque was presented by the party leader and its presidential candidate, Raila Odinga during the Adopt-A-Polling-Station launch.

We hope all the other candidates who use music for campaigns to pay up so that the artists get their royalties. The Governors are required to pay up Ksh. 150,000, the senators Ksh. 100,000 and Members of Parliament Ksh. 50,000. Below is the associations’ notice of the same.
