Another beautiful debut single comes in the form of Marlenà Taylor‘s “Whats Luv”. The song features singer Dee’John. Fusing poetry and hip hop, it depicts the trying  moments of a break up.

The 23-year old UK artist hails from Birmingham. She does channel the power of storytelling and poetry in creating her music.

“I feel as women, we tolerate a lot but at the end of it all women have their breaking points and ‘Wats Luv’ was my breaking point”, Taylor says about the song.

Dee’John‘s hook is reminiscent of 90s R&B and moves smoothly with the track. Grab a listen below.
