With his debut album, You Should’ve Known being readied for an Oct 19 release, Germany-based, Ghanian rapper Serious Klein drops a new single “Voodoo Money”, a track off that project which will be out via Majetic Casual. Produced by longtime collaborator Rascal, the song is the second part of a trilogy of records whose titles end in ‘money’, the first being “Coochie Money”. About the song Klein, remarks:
“It’s written from the perspective of some of the people that surround me, people I grew up with, and their decisions. Stuff that really affected me. Friends that changed over night, due to the love of money. It’s like thinking that you know someone and feeling that they’re being entranced by somebody in the way Voodoo magic does.”
The song finds a more hardened rapper who finds the vigor to go hard lyrically, and is more aggressive in flow.
