Westwood Recordings shares a new track as Shylow remixes “Mountains”, an earlier single by Moontricks. The electronic record features a blend of Moontrick’s beautifully harmonized vocals with Shylow’s smooth percussion and lush chords. Generally, the song is lyrically engaging but also quite dance-inducing. While Shylow is a Nanaimo-based DJ/Producer who’s spending much of his time playing gigs/festivals and crafting tunes, Moontricks is a British Columbia-based duo that fuses blues and folk with electronic elements. Both are Canadian acts who are currently releasing music on the label.
