UK indie-pop band Ålesund return on the other side of their debut EP Shift & Flux with the release of a new single “All Hail To The Queen”. Produced by Jake Bright, the song comes accompanied by a stunning, Rob Potter-directed music video. Premiered today on Aipate, it is, essentially, an exaltation of the strength and resilience of women.

Musically, lead singer and front-woman Alba Torriset’s outstanding vocals blends into the smoothly layered instrumentation, giving the song a hazy and soothing feel. Besides Torriset (vocals & keys), the Bristol-based band includes Lloyd Star (guitar & synth), Carlos Coronado Nieto (drums) and Paul Hopkins (bass).
