Toronto’s Lo Lo is an artist on the rise. The emerging pop singer/songwriter’s latest release is a stripped-down performance of her last single, “Dead Inside”. The visuals accompanying this acoustic version was filmed in an intimate setting at ThatGoodGraphic studio and will suffice as the official music video. It befits the song’s heart-gripping lyrics.
Lo Lo’s vulnerable delivery on the song introduces us to that side of her and gets us to love her even more.
“Do you ever get that hollow feeling— the one that reminds you you’ve been feeling nothing at all?I call that feeling ‘dead inside’. Sometimes you don’t realize how dead inside you’ve become, until you wake up and snap out of it…. Kinda like that first breath, when you just realized you haven’t taken one in a while. I wrote ‘Dead Inside’ about a dark time. I was really struggling, going through the motions of everyday life and trying to put on a smile….”Lo Lo
