I did find Canadian artist Jhyve‘s new song “Checklist” quite deserving of the attention it’s currently getting. Built from a combination of R&B and hip-hop flavours, the track infuses soulful melodies which gives it the inviting vibe.

The Ontario-born singer and rapper’s braggadocio is revealed in the lyrics. However, as he reveals, the song is “about counting your blessings, and reminding yourself that, despite what we think we lack, we have so much to be thankful for.”
