“For My Father” by Boulder/Nashville-based musician Becoming Young is a breathtakingly emotive folk/pop piece. Written as a heartfelt show of empathy towards his father who’s trapped in a toxic situation, the artist gets pensively reflective. He sentimentally sings: “I see your heart and I see your soul, there’s nothing as pure as the man you are. Take a breath, let your burden go, when darkness comes, I’ll still love you so.”

Driven by a gripping piano, “For My Father” is so heart-wrenching. The music video fully captures the singer’s emotions.
