The R&B/pop track is the latest single from LA-based Mexican-American artist MONOGEM. As a release, it’s taken from her upcoming debut album, Gardenia. That LP is expected in about a month or so.
“Dame La Furza”, which loosely translates to “give me the strength”, is about owning who you are. For years, MONOGEM has encountered issues stemming from her mixed ethnic heritage. This song was, therefore, fashioned as an anthem for anyone who has ever felt misplaced.
