Italian-German producer Maxé sought out Berlin-based singer-songwriter Lara Samira with the intention of giving Chris Isaak’s classic love song, “Wicked Game”, a modern remix. Their version was moulded into a hazy future house track. The record is out via Be Yourself Music.
“Wicked Game” carries awesome energy, thanks to the delightful combination of synths, beats and horns. Still, it retains the gloomy vibe of the original. Lara’s wistful vocals accentuate that feeling further, driving the listener into an intoxicating bliss.
