Abhi The Nomad – “Shine”

Rapper Abhi The Nomad has just released the deluxe version of his Abhi Vs The Universe album. The project arrived in the beginning of September. With the new album comes the focus-single, “Shine”. This was created in collaboration with production duo smle. “Shine” is a fun, upbeat song with some lighthearted lyrics. Stream Abhi Vs The Universe (Deluxe) in its entirety here.

Oh He Dead – “Bottle It Up”

“Bottle It Up” is a new single from the band Oh He Dead. It’s a funky jam about that thrillsome feeling of a glossy new love. The creation process began with a super-additive melody that singer Andy started humming to while in the shower. Thanks to her great voice, lead singer CJ did a great job bringing the composition to life. The 5-piece band (Andy, CJ, Alex, John and Adana) recorded the track in Nashville with Emmy-nominated Engineer Jimmy Mansfield and producer Paul Rogers.

KING LX – “Say It”

German-based neo-soul duo KING LX (consisting of Benji and Fayzen) have revealed a new song, “Say It”. It is a very moving piano ballad. The song is about how silence from the other party could be more hurtful than the truth. “Say It” is the follow-up to KING LX’s “Universe” single.

Mr Little Jeans – “Paper Vows”

Norwegian pop singer Monica Birkenes, who’s known professionally as Mr Little Jeans, is back with another splendid offering. The song is called “Paper Vows”. The production combines lovely trap drums with enchanting bass synths to create a truly mesmerizing electro pop track. “Paper Vows” is about having built-up anger and eventually looking at past experiences with new clarity.

Balduin x okafuwa – “Better Off”

Balduin is a Frankfurt-based DJ/producer duo made up by horn-wielding multi-instrumentalist Benedikt Kuhn and sound designer Martin Straka. Their ability to complement each other has helped them create huge tunes that have raked in millions of streams. The latest from the pair is a melody-filled tropical-flavoured song called “Better Off”. It was made in collaboration with soulful singer okafuwa. Lyrically, “Better Off” juxtaposes post-breakup melancholy with the celebration of the resulting freedom. It’s super anthemic.

Andreia – “Nha Mundo”

Cape Verdean singer Andreia has released yet another track which pairs brooding lyrics with danceable rhythms. Named “Nha Mundo”, it is about the harrowing loss of a loved one. “Nha Mundo” is followup to her second single, “Muda“. Andreia paired the kizomba track with a nice-looking visual.
