New York artist Abby T.‘s music exists at the intersection of R&B, hip hop and pop. With her debut EP Phases due later this year, she decided to engage fans with a bubbly new single, “CHARLIEBROWN”.

The song was paired with an equally playful visual. That video was directed by Morian Thomas.

Abby shared, “I wrote a song a day for a year and drew from all types of media for inspiration, including cartoons. I thought it was clever how the adults only spoke gibberish, so I wrote about it. The video is wildly vibrant and was inspired by all the imaginative shows I grew up watching, like Lizzie McGuire and That’s So Raven. It’s light-hearted, playful, and gives me a chance to tap into a range of personas living in my world.”

Enjoy this bop and keep up with the Baltimore native on Instagram.
