Colorado Springs-based singer-songwriter Edie Gray has released her newest album which she named The Veil. The LP arrived on June 3rd, having been preceded by a similarly titled single. Edie had paired “The Veil” with a beautiful video directed by Gabriel Jacobson and starring Emmy Fitzsimmons (Edie’s daughter) and Andre Brackin.

The song is a though-provoking piece about how we can’t regain our innocence once it’s lost. The artist remarks, “There’s darkness in that message and in the song’s instrumentation yet my director Gabriel Jacobson had the brilliant idea of juxtaposing that darkness with light, with the wonder only a young child can still possess.”

Other tracks include “The Chain”, “Rise” and “You’re Free”.
