Alexz Johnson is a Canadian singer-songwriter and actress based out of both New York and Toronto.

The artist is gearing up to release a new album called Seasons on April 7th. Taken from that upcoming LP is a new single, “Ain’t That The Way”.

This song has the listener appreciating Alexz’s soulful voice and overwhelmingly beautiful songwriting.

“I created this album from home and hearth to heal my grief, heal my relationship with music, and regain the confidence to remember why I started doing this in the first place,” says Alexz who’s had to deal with losing a sister to cancer.

She adds: “There is a reason in the seasons of your life.“
