Golden is the title of an upcoming album by UK band Cattle & Cane. That LP has been scheduled for release on 17th November this year.

As the anticipation for the album build up, the duo shared a new single named “Rough Mercy”. The folk/pop track was produced by their longtime collaborator Luke Elgie.

“‘Rough Mercy’ is a song about the heaven and hell moments we all experience in relationships. How we can go from those ideal, almost perfect moments, to a place of despair. The song started life with Helen’s vocals and the piano, and the rest of it was built around that during the album recording process,” explains singer-songwriter Joe Hammill.

Joe’s sister, Helen, is the other half of the duo. Together, they make great music which you can sample on their Spotify page.
