Maddbayy was formed when two musicians with clashing personalities and backgrounds met in a Los Angeles studio. Core to the duo’s sound is an overt disregard for genre boundaries. This is well exemplified in their new single, “Chery Trees”.

An extra upbeat indie-pop with electronic influences, “Cherry Trees” will get you to dance. Its exultant melodies are a contrast to the thoughtful lyrics.

The song is about how love can transform any moment into something special. A great tune this one.
