I hadn’t listened to Amsterdam-based producer Robby East’s music for a while so you can imagine my excitement when I saw that he’d shared a new single. The melodic techno/house song is called “Follow Me Down”, and features ALLKNIGHT, a Scottish singer buzzing in the EDM scene.

Speaking about the creative process, ALLKNIGHT said it happened organically.

She elaborates, “‘Follow Me Down’ is a track that came together so quickly. Just after we had finished our last song together, ‘Overwater’, Robby sent me the instrumental to Follow Me Down and I loved the darker, more mysterious feel. I am a big fan of Robby’s music and so writing to his tracks is always such a pleasure as the melodies are so fun to write to and are also very inspiring in terms of mood and the direction in which I then write the vocal! “

From the instrumentation to the wonderful topline, the work on this track is impressive. “Follow Me Down” has a catchy and uplifting melody that I haven’t been able to get out of my head since I first heard the song. I’m sure you’ll enjoy this song.
