Ukrainian rock band Okean Elzy are set to release their first-ever English-language album this coming October. They did unveil the title-track, “Lighthouse”, a few days ago, accompanying it with a stirring music video.

“Lighthouse” is a heartfelt and passionate pop/rock song featuring John Rzeznik of Goo Goo Dolls on vocals, and Travis Barker on drums. It was co-written by Okean Elzy’s lead singer Sviastoslav ‘Slava’ Vakarchuk, Eva Arnby Busacker, and John Feldmann, who produced the track.

The creative process was a unique experience for me. Working alongside Feldy and Evey was both fun and inspirational. The song came together in a matter of minutes. Having Travis on drums took the vibe up to a whole other level, and is yet another example of how special the human camaraderie and support is on this track, ” Slava says.

From October 21st, the band will embark on a North American tour to support the album. Check out their Facebook / Instagram pages for tour dates and venues.
