James BKS is keeping his foot on the gas. The buzzing French-Cameroonian artist and producer has unveiled yet another impressive single, “Waka Go”. He wrote the song and co-produced it with Joa Touch.

“‘Waka Go’ is an ode to love and temptation, capturing the daily struggle to stay faithful in a long-term relationship, despite fleeting temptations, likening them to sugar’s insidious effects. Yet, I remember my vows: ‘I be one woman man, no doubt for my mind.,” says BKS.

“Waka Go” has since been accompanied by a vibrant cinematic music video (watch above). It follows “On My Way”, an uplifting song about James’ inspiring musical journey.

The musician, a son to legendary Cameroonian musician Manu Dibango, has crafted a style that fuses Western African sounds elements of modern pop and hip hop. Check out James BKS on Instagram.
