Imagine Sisyphus Obedient is the newly released EP from London-based Kenyan alt-R&B singer-songwriter IkeN.

The 4-track collection is part of a larger project (Imagine Sisyphus Happy) that’s expected to drop later this year. Serving as the EP’s centerpiece is “Sisyphus”, a moody, atmospheric track that I find quite moving.

IkeN shares, “‘Sisyphus’, and this entire EP, is meant to be the first real glimpse into the world of the project… the sounds, themes, questions… all of it is introduced in this one EP.”

Not many artists have IkeN’s work ethic. He’s always working on a new project. Galatea, his 2023 debut album, is one project I still go back to.
