The latest single from US artist Eric Swanson saw him join forces Jacob Hemphill of SOJA band and Brett Wilson of Roots Of Creation. The reggae/dub-rock song was named “Oblivious (Please Don’t Go)”.

Blending the laidback feel of island rock with alternative rock texture, this song is irresistible smooth.

Eric Swanson comments, “So many great artists came together in spirit to work on this track. Bits of this song were recorded across the globe, and that’s expressed beautifully by Hellman Escorcia’s horn arrangement throughout the song. Love and loss affect us all, and this song is a testament to the power of that notion. The “Oblivious” concept was inspired by the saying “until you learn to say no, yes means nothing”. We hope you find your voice and your power!

It’s been while since we shared music by Roots Of Creation. Thanks to this new collaboration, I’ve now been introduced to Eric Swanson.
