New artist Lotsy released a new single, “No Obedience”, the other week.

The high-octane and infectious song features a smooth blend of indie pop and punk rock. It encapsulates Lotsy’s loud, euphoric style.

“‘No Obedience’ is a defining statement for Lotsy and for who I am,” she shares.

The artist continues: “It’s about questioning the rules and boxes imposed on us, noticing they often serve people in power, not you. It’s about refusing to blindly accept someone else’s narrative, and choosing to carve your own path. Freedom begins where obedience ends. This is our Lotsy.”

Lotsy announced herself in August with the eponymous single, “Welcome to Lotsyland”, following it with “The Aesthetic is the Static” a fortnight later.

“No Obedience” is still a great starting point for discovering the American singer-songwriter. Be sure to follow Lotsy on Instagram.
