Jaymes Young returns with aself-written and self-produced alternative R&B-tinged single Stoned On You. Over a buoyant and sparse synth-driven arrangement, the crooner’s falsetto takes the reigns, as he coos about over-indulging on a new love: “I’m gone with the wind, high like a feather, your love is like codeine.” And by the track’s glistening bridge, he’s nearing full on inebriation, as he navigates the ins and outs of his paramour’s body, slurring “my fingertips on your lips / my racing hands down your hips.
