Tamtam is a musician currently based in Los Angeles but is originally from Saudi Arabia. She released a powerful music video for her “Identify Myself” song, a release she says transcends music, one that could pass for a movement.

“I wrote the song Identify Myself because coming from a mixed Middle Eastern Background and growing up in Saudi Arabia, no one would believe me when I said I was Saudi, they always wanted me to clarify or justify why I don’t look Saudi. Although that was the initial inspiration for the topic of the song, I wanted to dig deeper and I wrote the song to send a message about seeing all human beings as the same, rather than labeling each other through race, country, religion…etc.“, Tamtam opens to us about the inspiration behind this song.
