Swedish singer SHy Nodi has stepped out from behind the writer’s desk to release, “Complex”, his debut single and video. As songwriter, his compositions have amassed over 1 billion streams. The artist was born in Stockholm 1993. His parents had emigrated from Bangladesh. About the song, he says:

“A complex is something everybody has. It’s an insecurity born out of caring about what other people think. That insecurity can affect everything around you and your every choice, until you get to the point that you can’t even recognize your true self.”

With songwriting credits on songs like “The Ocean” by Mike Perry and SHY Martin, “All We Know” by The Chainsmokers and “I Wanna Know” by NOTD and Bea Miller, we can safely label Nodi a successful songwriter.

The video for “Compex” was directed by Hampus Hjellström, and shot on location in Bangladesh.
