The upcoming album Nostalgia comes on the other end of Japanese singer-songwriter Kaori Mukai‘s sojourn in Indonesia. The title-track “Nostalgia”, which is sung in both Japanese and Indonesian, provides a perfect taste of what to expect from the LP.

Kaori wrote the song as she reminisced her days in the country. On it, she’s assisted by Indonesian jazz pianist Roberto J.. Other musicians who played instruments are KARINTO (guitars) and Dion Subiakto (drums). You will find shades of folk, indie-pop and blues on “Nostalgia”.
