Kwaj articulates why he’s a “Man on a Mission”

Rising American rapper Kwaj brought nothing but heat on his latest single, “Man on a Mission”. Over a smooth hip-hop track produced by Tuamie, the Lansing, Michigan-bred emcee delivers hard-hitting bars that addresses issues ranging from his place in the rap game to social consciousness. “In the light of quarantine, protesting, and racial tension, I wrote a song to show how I feel. There’s also a hidden theme, in that despite everything I’m still focused on my goals what’s going on in my life. I want people to think deeper about the current climate but also feel empowered to chase their dreams even harder,” the artist remarks.

Kwaj’s style is soulful hip-hop that exists in the same vein as that of De La Soul, Little Brother or A Tribe Called Quest. With a project in the works, such is what to expect from the rapper. Keep tabs with him on Instagram.
