Kemboi caught my attention the very first time I heard him singing with his band, Third Hand Music. Describing his music as Afro-fusion R&B, the artist is, without a doubt, one of the most talented Nairobi-based singer-songwriters that I know of.

Kemboi’s newest song “Unanibamba” (the title translates to ‘you impress me’) is downright creative. It finds him confessing his feelings towards a love interest and, in the process, crafts such a vibey song. Speaking about it, he admits the lyrics is based on his own true story.

“Unanibamba” was produced by Jopee and released by Box House Media. Kemboi co-directed the music video accompanying the track with Richie Kay Kay.
