Not By Recipe is a new album by Russian hip-hop artist Everthe8. It’s a solid body of work and throughout its 13 tracks, the Ulan-Ude native holds his own as he displays his mastery of the hip-hop essentials: lyricism, flow and swagger.

The production on the LP is just impressively diverse, combining a classic rap flavour with contemporary and electronic elements. Highlighted above is the song “Bipolar”, a melodic R&B-inflected track.
