$Tragedy$ x Futuristic – “Championships”

Phoenix native $Tragedy$ has a new single out called “Championships”. An energetic trap record produced by Lucas Depetti, it features a verse by rapper Futuristic. “Championships” finds both artists going hard over the melodic and bouncy beat as they touch an array of topics. Alongside the track arrives the music video filmed by Robert Xiris Flores.

Peter $un – “Work”

Peter $un created a hilarious and playful video for his song, “Work”. The track is the lead single on the artist’s just-released album, Scumbaby. The 14-track project is out on Mind of Genius Records and was inspired by his hometown of Richmond, Virginia. “Work”, particular, is a fun, lighthearted track dressed in a hard-hitting production. It sets the rapper into a flexing mode as he balances work and fun.

Dax – “GOTHAM”

After a little break, Dax returns in his usual fiery fashion. In his new song titled “GOTHAM”, the Canadian rapper invites the listener to reflect on what’s actually important in their lives. Over a piano-guided beat, he gets pensively introspective. Commenting about “GOTHAM”, Dax reveals that it’s a ‘song I dropped after taking a extended break to get back on the right track. Gotham is a glimpse at my experiences and feelings since embarking on this journey.”

Seth Anthony x Burden – “Designed Conviction”

“Designed Conviction” by Florida singer-songwriter Seth Anthony is a powerful song about the ‘battle between your true self and your demons that you turn to when trying to deal with life’s struggles’. Delivered at the intersection of hip-hop and country music, it features rapper Burden. Both artists paint vivid pictures with their gripping lyrics and convey the same in the track’s accompanying video. “Designed Conviction” is one of the songs on Seth’s new EP, Free Taylor.

Renee Stormz x ALTOSOUNDS – “Channel High”

London femcee Renee Stormz and producer ALTOSOUNDS‘ new collaborative EP, ORE MI, is boldly experimental. California’s 60 East and producer Phil The Pain always bring heat when they link up. Their latest effort is a 60 East single named “Bad Reception”. The track features emcees Rymeezee and Kahlee. “Bad Reception” involves a stripped-down laid-back instrumental carrying a bluesy sample. This expressive base gets the rappers to their lyrical best as they paint pictures with their words.

Voice Monet – “Dynamite 2.0”

Barrier-breaking and award-winning femcee Voice Monet‘s latest cut “Dynamite 2.0” is a smooth jazzy hip-hop track that was produced by G Frequency. While it’s musically soothing, the song is deeply introspective. The record captures the New Orleans artist reflecting on the hard lessons learnt from a failed relationship. “Dynamite 2.0” offers a positive outlook on relationships.

UK boombap specialists High Focus are presenting a new record, “My Wonders”. The song brings together rapper-producer duo Verbz & Mr Slipz and label honcho emcee Fliptrix. Conor Michael Smith – “With You In Mind”

Cleveland artist and multi-instrumentalist Conor Michael Smith has a gripping new song with so powerful a message. Christened “With You In Mind”, it features very bold songwriting, with the 21-year-old musician’s lyrics touching on racism and politics in America. The video accompanying the song was inspired by the recent protests provoked by the killing of George Floyd. “With You In Mind” also urged citizens to vote.

OFFCOURSE – “Address That”

UK rapper OFFCOURSE is on the verge of his breakout. After releasing impressive singles “My Gang”, “Beg Friend” and “Still Here” with Lady Leshurr, the newcomer has returned with an explosive new song, “Address That”. The bass-heavy track was produced by Adotskitz and is taken from his planned debut EP. “Address That” is more like a statement of his achievements so far and the others he’s still gunning for.

“Deep Pockets” is a new collaboration pairing Cris Streetz with Yung Marley. The track was produced by Noc and alongside it can be seen the official video directed by Pablo “PenPusha” Bello. Jae Mansa x RiFF RaFF – “SWAN iN MY POND”

Rap duo Jae Mansa‘s rise has been nothing short of meteoric. Formed by cousins Daron Jaelon Johnson and Brandon Boone in 2016 — and signing a deal deal with Roc Nation two years later– the outfit continues to impress with their music style. Their latest effort is a new collaboration with rapper RiFF RaFF. Titled “SWAN iN MY POND”, it’s a melodic song full of infectious braggadocio. Next to song is a colourful video showcasing their lavish living.
