J. Maceo is a seasoned musician who has, for years, played across the Los Angeles scene. Now with a solo career which began late 2020 (with his debut single “Nellie”), the artist is taking his music to the world. J.’s style is a seamless blend of soul, rock, blues, folk, gospel, and indie — a sound he proudly refers to as rockin’ soul.

His third single “Lovebird” is now out. Produced by Jason Lowrie, the track is bluesy and super soulful. His penetrating vocals and storytelling lyrics are filled with intense passion and have the effect of transporting the listener to a place of pure bliss.
